- Nigeria won the 2015 FIFA U-17 World
Cup that was held across 8 cities in Chile since 17 October 2015. In the
finals Nigeria defeated Mali by 2-0. Oshimhen and Bamgboye scored
the goals for Nigeria at the 56th and 59th minute respectively.
- FIFA
U-17 World Cup is the world championship of association football for
male players under the age of 17 organized by Federation Internationale de
Football Association (FIFA).
- Nigeria
is the most successful nation in the tournament's history, with five
titles and three runners up. The Brazil is the second most successful with
three titles and two runners up. Ghana and Mexico have won the tournament
twice.
