Indian software giant Wipro has bagged  2015 Aegis Graham Bell Award for developing a solution for the Internet of Things (IoT).The award has been conferred upon  Wipro’s IoT solution ‘Universal Data Parser’ (UDP). The UDP enables flexible adaptation of data streams from a wide range of end devices to IoT platforms and data stores.

Currently, Wipro is India’s third-largest software services company employing 158,217 employees servicing over 900 of the Fortune 1000 corporations with a presence in 67 countries

About Aegis Graham Bell Awards :

• Aegis Graham Bell Awards established by Aegis School of Business is is India’s largest and the only innovation award in the field of Telecom, Internet, Media and Entertainment (TIME) and Social, Mobility Analytics and Cloud (SMAC).
• The award is intended to promote innovation, entrepreneurship in the field of Telecom, Internet, Media & Edutainment (TIME) and to provide recognition for outstanding contributions in this field in India.
