LIST OF DADASAHEB PHALKE AWARD WINNERS

The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is an annual award given by the Indian government for lifetime contribution to Indian cinema. The Award was instituted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in 1969, the birth centenary year of Dadasaheb Phalke, considered the father of Indian cinema. The award is being given to veterans in the film field such as Actors, Actresses, Producers, Directors, Music Directors and other Technical experts.

DADASAHEB PHALKE AWARD
The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is India's highest award in cinema. It is presented annually at the National Film Awards ceremony by the Directorate of Film Festivals, an organisation set up by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
